Khan Academy: Trigonometry App Reviews

Perfect!

This app is crystal clear to understand! I have a grade 7 education and I found this really easy. If you need (or want in my case) to learn trig this is perfect!

Helpful for understanding Trig

My Geometry teacher decided to introduce my class to Trig, and..it went terribly, at least for me. He wasnt really a good teacher, as Trig confused the heck out of me. It still does, but thanks to this app, I understand it a little better. Though Im still kinda confused because my teacher used degrees and not radians, while this guy seems to like radians.

ThanksfromRODPstudent

My online teacher isnt "teaching" us, so I am very thankful that this guy is. This video was very helpful, you dont understand :-). I havent taken math in ten years, and you have gotten me up to speed. Thanks so much! Ill be using your other subject applications a well. Awesome.

Awesome

This application has really helped me through school and is easy to understand. Thank you so much!!!

review

First review Ive ever taken the time to do.. 10/10 Guy should teach math

Freedom!

Ive been watching sals vids for a while and I always wanted to review my math at lunch. Unfortunately theres no wifi inside my school. Thanks to this app I can now DECIMATE my trig class!

SOHCAHTOA

I have only ever heard of one teacher who told that story so I am soooooo curious to know where he got the SOHCAHTOA because Im sure she would be delighted to know she is apart of something like this!

life saver!

i accidently skipped trig and went straight to calculus, these videos saved me.

Great teacher

The video quality is a little crap, but what this app lacks in resolution it makes up in wonderful, easy to follow lessons that can allow you to learn trig in no time flat.

Excellent!

I never submit reviews on Apps, but this one was so helpful that I felt I had no choice. The lessons are super easy to follow. Im starting a trig class in the fall and just wanted to get a jump start on the rest of my classmates. I love this app!

amazing app!

i have never written a review before.. but this app deserves it, im in advanced placement classes, so im taking trig a year early, and i wanted to get ahead and start learning so that i can focus on other classes more, and i have learned so much! the lessons are easy to follow and i have been flying through a year a trig before school even started! it is a great app:)

Trigonometric Identities

This saved me, thank you so much.

Not working on iOS 7

Please fix this. I upgraded to iOS 7 now the videos doesnt want to open up. Please fix this. My teacher isnt teaching us! :(

Not working on iOS7

Please fix this soon! I learn 80% of my math from your videos!

Missing the point

Khan academy is good because it works out problems on front of you, this app just is a recording of the lecture audio, without the visual aids its very difficult to retain any more than 10% of the actual lecture.

Videos?

Ive heard so much about Khan Academy that I was really looking forward to this app. But a lecture alone, without the video, is really not very helpful. I hope youre going to get the videos up soon!

Ben

It is helping me help my son, most teachers just care about hearing themselves vomit the information out to the kids and have them miraculously know it overnight..unions have ruined the education system and Khan Academy is giving me an opportunity to help my children.

Really happy

Ive done bad with learning these things, and the way you explain really works for me . Thanks!

Needs Audio

Are the videos supposed to be silent? Also, please remove Bens comment about the Teachers Union. Poor teaching has everything to do with a persons ability to connect with other people; political or social affiliation are irrelevant. Though Im sure K.A. loves the praise, it loses value when it is earned at others expense. Youre clearly conservative, go back to your faith to find forgiveness and release the hate passively before vomiting information just to hear yourself speak.

Great app, minor problem. But still love it

Well I just started using this app since yesterday and I woke up in the middle of the night and I just started studying more of these videos, however I came across video (#7) where it seems you have stated in the end that Sin=pie/1 and Cos=pie/0 then you have Tan=1/0; I thought that Tan=X/Y therefore stating that Sin should equal pie/0 and Cos should equal pie/1. I only say this because I dont think people should get confused with these problems henceforth; possibly put a side note into that video to let people know. But maybe Im wrong, I just started yesterday after all. -Hector J Rosa III
